The word doctor comes from the Latin verb docere, meaning “to teach.” Yet in today’s fast-paced healthcare system, limited visit times often leave little opportunity for in-depth, personalized education about your health. These individualized educational consultations were created to bring personalized teaching back to health—offering evidence-based education on women’s health topics such as menstrual cycle health, PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, PMDD, perimenopause, menopause, and nutrition. Each session is designed to help you navigate misinformation, better understand your body, and learn practical, research-based strategies to support your overall wellbeing.

I will be opening my own medical practice after graduating from family medicine residency starting in 2027! Founded by myself, Hannah Thornburg, MD, a Family Medicine physician completing residency training with specialized education in Integrative and Culinary Medicine, my practice is designed to provide whole-person care for women ages 18 and older.

Upon completion of residency, I will be board-certified in Family Medicine and will offer comprehensive, evidence-based medical care—blending preventive medicine, integrative approaches, and nutrition-focused guidance to help women thrive in every stage of life.

My clinic will operate independently of insurance, allowing for longer, unhurried visits, same- or next-day appointments, and deeply personalized care. Care will initially be offered virtually through telehealth, with plans to transition to an in-person clinic in the future. Patients will have the option to join through a monthly membership or pay-per-visit model, depending on their preferences.
